Robin Gerrity joined the Dixie Children’s Fund board in the spring of 2003. Robin has three daughters, Rebecca (10th grade), Shannon (MC8), and Kathleen (MS5) and have lived in the Marinwood community since 1999. Robin is active at Mary Silveira school as a parent volunteer and has Co-Chaired the Scholastic Book Fair for four years. Robin has been involved with the Marinwood Waterdevils Swim Team board for five years and also serves on the Developmental Disabilities Board for Area 5. Robin received her BA in Public Administration from San Diego State University.
Pat Baker, Director

Pat Baker joined the Dixie Children’s Fund board in March 2006. She and her husband, Wayne, have one child, Harry, an eighth grader at Miller Creek. At their previous school, Pat was Co-President of the Parent Association and served on the Strategic Planning Committee. Over the years, she was also an active classroom volunteer and chair of various fund raising events and school programs. She graduated from the University of Rhode Island, majoring in Secondary Education, English and Speech and taught high school English a couple of years before moving to San Francisco. She is presently a principal and Vice President of Marketing and Sales for Morrison Lighting, a wholesale lighting manufacturer in Marin.
Kathryn Chipman, Director

Kathryn Chipman joined the DCF Board in the fall of 2007. She and her husband Steve have two boys; Evan is in 9th grade and Colby is in 6th grade at Miller Creek. Prior to joining the DCF Board, Kathryn served as the President of Mary Silveira Home & School Association, Enrichment Fund Chair, Wellness Committee Member, and currently helps to run the lunch program at Mary Silveira. She also works part time as the Director of Sales for Obentec (Laptop Lunches). Kathryn was born in Morocco and grew up in the Boston area where she graduated from the University of Massachusetts/Amherst and attended Boston University Graduate School of Public Health. She met her husband Steve while windsurfing on Cape Cod. They moved to San Francisco in 1991 and settled in Terra Linda in 1997 where they enjoy hiking, mountain biking, running, and skiing.
Cheryl Clementson, Director

Cheryl Clementson joined the Dixie Children’s Fund board in February 2007. She and her husband, Sern, have one daughter in sixth grade at Miller Creek. They have lived in Marin since 1996. Cheryl is active in the classroom as a volunteer and room parent. After volunteering as the Can Do! Chairperson at Mary Silveira in its inaugural year, Cheryl will continue to work on the Can Do! Committee as the Coordinator. She has a BS from San Francisco State University and previously worked in the Financial Services Industry.
Mercedes Dramen, Director

Mercedes Dramen joined the Dixie Children’s Fund board in April 2007. She and her husband, Miron, have two children in the Dixie School District: a son in 5th grade at Dixie Elementary and a daughter who attends 9th grade. Mercedes is the Can Do! Chair for Dixie Elementary and her contributions to the campaign have been invaluable.

Scott was the Treasurer and Director for Vallecito Elementary School’s Parent Teachers Association for four years prior to joining the Dixie Children’s Fund Board in May 2003. Scott has one child at Miller Creek Middle School and the other in Terra Linda High School. Scott has 25 years in the financial services industry, including 5 years as Savings and Loan Regulator for US Department of Treasury. Scott received a BS from San Diego State University.
Natalie Huggins, Director

Natalie Huggins joined the Dixie Children's Fund Board in February 2007. After having lived in Oregon, Nebraska and Connecticut, Natalie and her husband Geoff were thrilled to set down roots in the Terra Linda area of San Rafael in 2002. Their son, William, attends third grade at Vallecito where Natalie is an active volunteer and room parent. After volunteering on the DCF Business Partner Campaign, she now co-chairs the committee. Natalie has her Masters in Teaching working as a secondary social studies teacher and an Education Equity Specialist conducting trainings for school district personnel in the Pacific Northwest and Pacific Islands in the areas of race, gender and national origin equity.

Dominique Jeffroy-Meynard joined the Dixie Children's Fund Board in January, 2008. She and her husband, Francis Meynard, have 11 year old triplets, two girls and one boy, in seventh grade at Miller Creek Middle School. The family has lived in Marinwood since 1996. Dominique has been an involved classroom volunteer at Mary Silveira Elementary School and has been a tremendous behind-the-scenes contributor to many DCF events.

Rachel Kertz joined the Dixie Children's Fund Board in May 2006 after serving on the DCF Business Partner committee. Rachel and her husband, Loren, have two sons, Nathan (Dixie, 4th grade) and Ryan (Dixie, 1st grade) and have lived in the Mont Marin community since 1999. Rachel is an active classroom volunteer and helps to facilitate many of the classroom technology-based projects. Rachel works at Autodesk as a project manager and also serves on the board of the Marin Jewish Community Center. Rachel received her B.A. from UC Santa Cruz in Psychology, and her MBA from San Francisco State University.

Christine Koontz joined the Dixie Children’s Fund board in May 2008. She has two children at Dixie Elementary, Evan in 3rd grade and Avery in Kindergarten. Prior to joining the DCF Board, Christine served as Co-Vice President of the Dixie Home and School Club (DHSC) for two years. Christine served as the Co-Chairperson for the Dixie Elementary Walk-A-Thon and continues to be active in the classrooms as a volunteer and room parent. She has a BS from San Francisco State University and previously worked in Marketing in the Telecommunications Industry.

Lynn Merrion joined the Dixie Children’s Fund board in June 2008. She and her husband Mark have 3 children, a daughter in high school (10th grade), a son at Miller Creek (6th grade), and a daughter at Dixie Elementary (4th grade). Lynn grew up in Terra Linda and is a graduate of the Dixie School District, Terra Linda High School and Sacramento State University. She worked in the computer industry for 10 years before becoming a full-time mom and volunteer in 1999. Lynn continues to be an active volunteer for her children’s schools, sports and other community activities.

Lesley Savelli joined the Dixie Children's Fund board in March 2006. Lesley and her husband have three children who attend Miller Creek Middle School and Mary Silveira (MES) elementary school. Lesley has served on the MES Site Council and the Home and School Board, and is a very active classroom volunteer and room parent. Lesley grew up in San Francisco and attended college in San Diego. She worked in hotel management and events where she met her husband and started a multimedia presentation company, Focus Audio Visual.

Jessica Slack joined the Dixie Children¢s Fund board in October 2007. She and her husband, Phil, have two sons; Dylan is in sixth grade at Miller Creek Middle School and Trevor is in third grade at Vallecito Elementary. Jessica grew up in Marin and has lived in Terra Linda since 2000. She has been an active volunteer at Vallecito.
